Title:  Lecturer 


Zhang Chu is currently a lecturer at the School of Economics and Management, Beihang University. She earned her Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University in 2017. She visited Japan in 2014, which was supported by China’s Ministry of Education and Japan Foundation. She was a sponsored doctoral student by China Scholarship Council to the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University in 2014-2015. She received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering from School of Economics and Management, Beihang University in 2011.

Her research interest includes Operations Management and Marketing Interface, Channel and Supply Chain Management, Information Sharing and etc. Her researches have been published in journals such as Scientific Management Research and included in chapters of books such as Weiming Riben Luncong. She also had been invited to present at conferences such as POMS annual meetings (Production and Operations Management Society), ICLSCM (International Conference on Logistics and Supply Chain Management), and etc. She was the reviewer for Journal of Business Research. As to date, she has been parts of an integral research members on several provincial research projects, including projects supported by National Development and Reform Commission, China's Ministry of Commerce and Beijing Social Science Foundation. In addition, she has also worked as a key consultant on several projects pertaining to government’s policy on management and planning.

She has gained extensive experience from working as a teaching assistant for both the undergraduate classes and MBA classes. Those courses included Innovation Management, Entrepreneurial Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Project Management, Operation Management, Operational Research, and Supply Chain Management. She has great enthusiasm toward teaching. And she is looking to share her knowledge and experiences to her fellow students at Beihang Univesity.
