On April 7th, Cross-Strait Economics and Management Symposium held by Chung Yuan Christian University and Beihang University opened at 2nd Auditorium Hall of New Main Building. The major officiating guests at the opening were:
Prof. Tang Xiaoqing, Vice President, Beihang University;
Prof. Hu Weishan, Vice President, Chung Yuan Christian University;
Prof. Wang Huiwen, Dean, School of Economics and Management, Beihang University
Prof. Lin Shimo, Dean, School of Business, Chung Yuan Christian University.
Before the opening ceremony, Vice President Tang and Hu exchanged ideas on the latest developments of both universities, reached agreements on academic exchanges and R&D collaboration, and expressed good wishes for the long-term friendship between the two universities. Vice President Tang also coordinately invited the professors and students of the Chung Yuan Christian University to participate the Aerospace Camp for
Taiwan Universities in July at Beihang University.
Opening ceremony was chaired by Prof. Fang Weiguo, Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management. Dean Wang and Lin addressed in the ceremony and signed collaboration agreements of two schools. After the ceremony, the paralleling panels, i.e., business administration panel, economics panel and general management panel, were organized to discuss the latest and hot economic and management topics. Visitors from Chung Yuan Christian University consist of 23 professors and 33 students.
