The 2013 International Multidisciplinary Workshop on Innovation and Technology Management Held Successfully

From October 25th to 26th, 2013 International Workshop on Innovation and Technology Management (IWITM 2013) was held successfully in School of Economics and Engineering. The workshop was co-sponsored by Beihang University and Université Libre de Bruxelles, and was hold at School of Economics and Engineering of Beihang University.

The IWITM 2013 attracted many famous scholars attendance. Prof. Bruno VAN POTTELSBERGHE, Prof. Catherine DEHON and Prof. Michele CINCERA from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Université Libre de Bruxelles, and Prof. Dundar F. KOCAOGLU, Director and CEO, Portland International Conference on Management of Engineering & Technology attended the workshop. Prof. Chen Jin from Tsinghua University, Prof. Mu Rongping from University of Chinese academy of sciences, Prof. Huang Can from Zhejiang University, and Prof. Chen Xiangdong, Prof. Wang Jing, Dr. Wu Junjie, Dr. Hao Jinxing of Beihang University, and other domestic and overseas scholars have also attended this workshop. They conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions about topics such as social innovation infrastructure and educational system, patent technology and patent system, globalization and multinational business, social innovation infrastructure and educational system, and so on.

Prof. Wang Huiwen, Dean of School of Economics and Management, Beihang University, Prof. Catherine DEHON, Vice Rector of Université Libre de Bruxelles, and Prof. Bruno VAN POTTELSBERGHE, Dean of the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management addressed at the opening ceremony. Prof. Ma Jinxi, Director of International Office, Beihang University met with representatives from Université Libre de Bruxelles at the Farewell Banquet.
