In 2017, School of Economic and Management (SEM) has 3 cases winning National Excellent Teaching Case Awards in the domain of accounting and finance.
In 2016 National Excellent MPAcc Teaching Case Competition, which is held by China National MPAcc Education Steering Committee, Associate Professor Lixin Pan won the National Excellent MPAcc Teaching Case Award with her work titled “Shihua’s Financial Control Challenges in Film and Television Investment Projects”. Professor Zhou Ning also won the award with her work titled "The Nirvana of Phoenix: a Joint Venture Project Manager’s Way to Achieving Breakthrough".
In the Third National Excellent Finance Teaching Case Competition, which is held by China National Finance Education Steering Committee, Associate Professor Deng Lu won the National Excellent Finance Teaching Case Award with "Jiuding Investment: the Capital Operation through National Equities Exchange and Quotations and the Backdoor Listing", and achieved three consecutive winning in the event.
So far, SEM has 6 National Excellent Finance Teaching Case and 7 National Excellent MPAcc Teaching Case. This is outstanding among peer universities in China, which demonstrates and strengthens SEM’s competitiveness in case teaching.
