The research Center of Complex Data Analysis of Beihang University was founded on November 27, 2002. As one of the four national-wide virtual research centers established by NSFC, the center aims to set up an international communication platform that strengthens theoretical research, application, and education in complex data analysis. The center is led by Professor Wang Huiwen, and Professor R. Verde from the Second University of Naples, Italy.
Since its founding, the center has hosted quite a few international workshops, built up routine schedule for bilateral visits, and accepted numerous international visiting scholars and students. Meanwhile, the center participated in a wide variety of research projects supported by the government and other institutes. It stresses the theoretical innovation in the field of data analysis, and tries to answer the country’s call for social and economic development by attracting for fostering experts in complex data analysis.
