The Department of Digital marketing is one of the new departments in SEM. The establishment of this department aims to realize superior education and research by entering into emerging digital markets.Combining traditional marketing insights with in-depth quantitative research, we generate findings to contribute on digital marketing research field and convey our findings to practitioners.
Currently, the department faculty includes 1 full professor, 3 associate professors, and 2 assistant professors. We are developing an extensive cooperation with domestic and international research institutes and enterprises in teaching, research and public services. Research conducted by the department faculty is distinguished. The achievements include over 10 on-going NSFC projects, 5 academic books, as well as a large number of research papers published on peer-reviewed academic journals indexed by SSCI, such as Management World, ActaPsychologicaSinica, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Psychology & Marketing,Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, etc. In addition, there are 3 business cases developed by the faculty awarded as China Best Management Cases by China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee. These achievements are in a national leading position.
The department has also established one research center, namely Center for digital marketing. It strives to enhance academic research on digital marketing theory and improve its application into marketplace as well.
