From August 23 to 25, the 2024 Annual ’Service Innovation and Operations Management in the Context of New Quality Productivity’ Academic Forum and the 5th Annual Academic Conference of the Service Science and Operations Management Branch of CSOOPEM hosted by BUAA SEM, were successfully held. The theme of this conference is ’Service Innovation and Operations Management in the Context of New Forms of Productivity’. Over 300 experts, scholars, faculty and students from more than 100 universities and research institutions participated in this event.
The annual conference presented the latest achievements and advancements in the research field of China's service science and operations management. It discussed how the essence of service innovation is undergoing changes in the context of developing new quality productivity, as well as understanding and seizing the new opportunities and challenges brought about by‘new forms of productivity’has become a crucial topic for experts and scholars in service science and operations management. This conference holds great significance in promoting the discipline development of service science and operations management. It also provides all participating experts, scholars, and industry professionals a high-end academic platform to exchange the latest academic progress, discuss challenges, opportunities, and practical applications, and further promotes the discipline construction of management science and engineering in BUAA. It also plays a significant role in enhancing the influence of our School of Economics and Management.
