Recently, Professor Wang Huiwen's team from the School of Economics and Management at Beihang University published a research paper titled ‘Supporting the supporters: How peer mentoring engagement reduces citizenship fatigue for sophomores in universities’ in the internationally renowned educational research journal, British Educational Research Journal. The paper was co-authored by Associate Professor Ma Lin, Associate Professor Dong Yanan, student Jiang Haowen, Associate Professor Wu Xin, and Professor Wang Huiwen from the School of Economics and Management. The study systematically reveals the positive impact of the ‘peer mentoring system’ in universities on student growth from a theoretical perspective. It provides scientific validation for the practical effectiveness of Beihang's ‘Mentor Program’ (Mengtuo Plan) and also contributes Chinese wisdom to the development of student support systems in global higher education.
