On April 28, 2025, International Cooperation Key project "Energy Transition for Sustainable Development" surpported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) held a kick-off meeting and academic seminar in Beihang.
The meeting was hosted by MOE Laboratory for Low-carbon Intelligent Governance, Beihang University（LLIG）, and School of Economics and Management, Beihang university，and co-organized by the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (Fraunhofer ISI) ，France Climate Economics Chair, Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and Institutes of Science and Development,Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Mr. Zhang Zhihui (Deputy director of Department of International Cooperation, Beihang University), Prof. Fan Ying( Dean of School of Economics and Management, Beihang University), Prof. Wolfgang Eichhammer (Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research), Prof. Gao Hu (Director of Center for Energy Strategy and Economics in NDRC), and Prof. Shi Minjun (Director of Center for Urban Development and Low-Carbon Strategy in Zhejiang University) attended the meeting. More than 50 teachers and students from Beihang University, Fraunhofer ISI, Energy Research Institute (NDRC), Institute of Science and Development (CAS), Peking University, Zhejiang University, Kyushu University, Tianjin University, China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and other organizations attended the meeting.
