About the Presenter:

Yue Qin is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Earth System Science at the University of California, Irvine, where she works on Food-Energy-Water nexus. Her postdoctoral research focuses on evaluating the inertia of global water demand in the energy and agriculture sectors. Yue received her Ph.D. from the Science, Technology and Environmental Policy (STEP) program at Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs at Princeton University, where her research focuses on the environmental implications of China’s energy policies. Her research has been published in a series of high-profile journals, including Nature Sustainability, PNAS, Environmental Science & Technology, Energy Policy, and et al.
