On 17 May, 2019, we welcomed the speaker Dr. Kiriti Kanjilal，Assistant Professor from Economics of Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. His research interests are primarily in the fields of microeconomics, game theory, industrial organization, environmental economics and behavioral economics. He also has experience in conducting economic experiments. In the seminar, Dr. Kanjilal presented hislast research “Endogenous Equity Shares in Cournot: Welfare Analysis and Policy”, where heconsidersa duopoly in which firms can strategically choose equity shares on their rival's profits before competing in quantities.
More than 20 teachers and students of the School of Economics and Management have participated in the seminar and discussed the study with Dr.Kanjilal. We are looking forward to the Bi-Week Applied Economics Colloquium next week.
