IEB’s Adjunct Prof Chen Xiaohong is elected to AAAS
Recently, the American Academy of Arts and Sciencesannounced the list of new academicians in 2019. Professor Chen Xiaohong, amember of the International Academic Committee of the Institute of Economicsand Business is among the list. Professor Chen is the first Chinese economistfrom the mainland who was elected to the Academy since 1780.
Chen Xiaohong is a professor of economicsat Yale University and a leading expert in the field of econometrics. Whileworking on theoretical econometrics, she has also been in cooperation withscholars in various fields of applied economics. Her research areas are mainlyin sieve generalized moment estimation methods, and estimation and inference ofmultiple semi-parametric and non-parametric models.
