Dr. Yigang Wei is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Economics, School of Economics and Management, Beihang University. He obtained her PhD degree from Department of Building and Real Estate, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2013. He is a visiting scholar at the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge and Department of Geography and Resource Management of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before joining the Beihang University in 2016, he had been working as a post-doctoral in the School of Public Policy & Management, Tsinghua University.

His current research interests include energy and environment economics, sustainability science, and urban and regional economics. Dr. Wei has published over 20 SSCI/SCI listed journals papers in leading economics and management journals. His research has published inEnergy economics, Safety Science，Sustainable Development, Sustainable Society and Cities, Journal of Contemporary China, Habitat International，Science of the Total Environment，Journal of Urban Planning and Development, Journal of Cleaner production, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management，etc.He has received research grants from China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Humanities and Social Science Fund of Ministry of Education in China, National Key Research and Development Program of China.
