Dr. SHAN Wei is a Professor of Management and the Director of Graduate Students at the School of Economics and Management at Beihang University (BUAA). He received his Ph.D. degree in Technological Economics and Management from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in 2008. He has served as a Visiting Professor at Seoul National University from 2011 to 2012, and Rutgers University from 2015 to 2016. He was selected in Blue Sky Outstanding Young Researcher Award of Beihang University.

His current research interests focus on Knowledge Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Quality and Service Management, Bid Data and Social Network Analysis, etc.

He has published more than 40 academic papers in journals and conferences. His researches have been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Foundation, etc. The research output has been awarded for several academic honors or rewards by Chinese government.

He has been awarded as the supervisor for excellent thesis of master’s degree, the 17th ‘XAC Teaching Award’ for excellent professor (first prize), the excellent teacher award (second prize), and the excellent award in annual teaching and research, etc.
