From November 2nd to November 4th, 2024, the faculty of BUAA SEM attended the ‘2024 Beihang Global Partners Summit’ at Beihang Hangzhou Campus. They discussed the cooperation agreement with representatives from over 30 prestigious universities and international partners and achieved fruitful results.
At the opening ceremony of the summit, Vice President Zhao Weisheng signed a student exchange agreement with Professor Gürkan Selçuk Kumbaroğlu, the Vice President of Boğaziçi University in Turkey, extending the friendly relationship between our school and Boğaziçi University to an university-wide cooperation. During the summit, Associate Dean Hao Jinxing met with Professor Gürkan Selçuk Kumbaroğlu on behalf of the school to finalize the details of the student exchange agreement, including courses, credits, student accommodation, and the types of college students. Both parties also explored ways to deepen their cooperation in teaching and research.
The school will carefully summarize the outcomes achieved at this summit and subsequently organize special meetings to facilitate the implementation of various cooperation intentions, effectively promoting high-quality international development. In addition, the school will continue to thoroughly implement the ‘Action Plan for Advancing High-Quality International Cooperation at Beihang University (2024-2030)’, the university's ‘UPS International Development Strategy’, and the School of Economics and Management's ‘SPS Internationalization Development Strategy’. These efforts aim to provide students with a broader international perspective, offer faculty a wider range of cooperation opportunities, and contribute to enhancing the international academic influence of BUAA.
