Dr. Pengfei Jia: Overborrowing, government bailout, and optimal macro prudential policy
On 10 May 2019, we welcomed the speaker Dr. Pengfei Jia from Business School,Nanjing University. His research focuses on macroeconomics, monetary economics,international finance, and Chinese economy. In the seminar, Dr. Jia presentedhis last research “Overborrowing, government bailout, and optimal macroprudential policy
”, which is based on the perspective of excessive lending, focusing on how to design optimal macroprudential policies under government guarantee conditions.
More than 20 teachers and students of the School ofEconomics and Management have participated in the seminar and discussed thestudy with Dr. Jia. We are looking forward to the Bi-Week Applied EconomicsColloquium next week.
