On 8 Nov 2019, we welcomed the speaker Dr. Kun Wang of School of InternationalTrade and Economics, University of International Business and Economics. Hismain research area is transportation economics and logistics management. Thetopic is “Seaport Adaptation to Climate Change-related Disasters: Terminaloperator market structure and inter- and intra-port coopetition”, which examinesanalytically how the TOC market structure could affect ports’ adaptationinvestment.
More than 20 teachers and studentsof the School of Economics and Management have participated in the seminar anddiscussed the study with Dr. Wang.We are looking forward to the Bi-Week Applied Economics Colloquium next week.
