Ziqiu Ye: Optimal Channel Strategy of Luxury Brands in the Presence of Online Marketplace and Counterfeits

 

On 14 Jan 2020,we welcomed the speaker Ziqiu Ye who is a PhD. Candidate of National Universityof Singapore. Her topic is “Optimal Channel Strategy of Luxury Brands in thePresence of Online Marketplace and Counterfeits”, which underscores the rolethat the online marketplace plays in the increasing quality of counterfeits inrecent years and further suggests that the authentic firm sets up its directonline channel to counter the prevalence of counterfeits in online marketplaces.

More than 20teachers and students of the School of Economics and Management haveparticipated in the seminar and discussed the study with the speaker. We arelooking forward to the Bi-Week Applied Economics Colloquium next week.
