On 25th May, 2017, in the room A206 of the New Main Building, Prof. Dong Liu from Scheller School of Business of Georgia Institute of Technology, was invited to make an academic lecture on “The Research Frontier and Thought of Followship”. The lecture was chaired by Professor Taohua OUyang from School of Economics and Management. More than 50 tutors and students from the SEM attended this lecture.

In the lecture, Professor Liu explained the current international academic forefront of followship in organization behavior field, as well as the skills to publish articles in relevant international top journals. Professor Liu’s lecture focused on the concept and research method of followship.

At the end of the lecture, the tutors and students from the SEM put forward various questions about how to do the research in the frontier field. Prof. Liu has taken vivid practical cases to answer the questions. The lecturer and listeners were immersed in a deep academic atmosphere and looking forward to more academic communications in the future.
