On 16th June, 2017, in the room A622 of the New Main Building, Prof. ZHANG Wei from Tianjin University, was invited to make an academic lecture on“Technology-driven Financial Innovation”. The lecture was chaired by Professor FAN Yin from School of Economics and Management. More than 40 tutors and students from the SEM attended this lecture.
Inthe lecture, Professor ZHANG explained some hot topics in finance research,such as the role of technology in financial innovation, the application of big data in financial innovation, the logic of financial innovation and other financial research.
At the end of the lecture, the tutors and students from the SEM put forward various questions about the relationship between financial innovation and Internet technology. Prof. ZHANG took many practical cases to answer the questions. The lecturer and listeners were immersed in a deep academic atmosphere and looking forward to more academic communications in the future.
